Isfahan hosts children & youth filmfest

30th International Film Festival for Children and Youth has been scheduled to open in Isfahan from June 30.

The tourist city of Isfahan is going to host 30th International Film Festival for Children and Youth.

The festival is slated for June 30-July 6 and many countries are to attend the event.

On May 23, Alireza Rezadad, Secretary and director of the festival, had spoken of new sections at the event. Rezadad has newly said that the schools can use the event as part of their summer holiday programs and they can make arrangements for school students to attend the festival.

The section for children is to be competitive. The young adults section is non-competitive and will include only a review of the works.

The festival is jointly organized by the Farabi Cinema Foundation, Municipality of Isfahan and Iran Organization of Cinema and Audiovisual Affairs.
